IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- From pennies to hundred dollar bills and checks, it took nearly two hours to count and recount money collected in sealed jars and boxes throughout Northern and Southern California to aid South Asian Tsunami Victims.
When the counting was done, Mr. Chieu Le of Lee's Sandwiches handed American Red Cross representative Johanna Zavala a check for $156,826, wildly surpassing Lee's goal of donating $100,000.
